We just completed a new update of the setup for SolidWorks 2009. The content and changes in this new setup MyCADtools.

New Tools

ScaleDimension: ScaleDimension is a tool that allows you to assign a scale factor to the odds of a SolidWorks model.

SearchPath: This utility allows to specify folders to search the documents referenced''option''SolidWorks. In options, you will have the opportunity to select and filter files in folders by type of material they contain (part, assembly).

RollBackState: This utility lets down the bar back in the automatic end of the design tree for the part files and assembly.

Bugfixes

Fixed Bug for the connection of utilities with Excel on machines configured with the regional options in English (Canada).

PowerPrint and EasyPrint: Fixed bug on line thickness

ToleranceTable: Fixed bug when changing the odds in the development plan, the changes are not saved if the 3D model is not open.

PropertiesList: Fixed bug when using option "Distinguish between components with different configurations" and "Differentiating sub assembly components" that were not taken into account.

CopyOptions: The utility does not copy over the thickness of lines to avoid being confronted with the bug SolidWorks SPR # 517438 (When line width is set for custom size model in the eDrawings takes the maximum size).

New features and bug fixes

ToolbarMyCAD

• Ability to enable ToolBar 2008 and 2009 without having to restart SolidWorks
• Added option to launch a tool to launch SolidWorks (During the loading of the toolbar) without having to activate the SolidWorks events.

UpdateVersion
Improved selection of documents:

• Extraction filters
• Overview File
• Ability to add SolidWorks Workgroup PDM projects

SmartProperties

• Modification of type "Run"
  • Ability to run for the specification and block SmartProperties with a return code.
  • Ability to send an argument of the properties contained in the input mask but not yet implemented with a $
• Fixed bug when launching SmartProperties on two documents
• Added option to not show the bug
• Adding to the SW of the variables can retrieve the units and the version of SolidWorks.

BomCreator

• Added option to not take into account the options to exclude components of SolidWorks to create the BOM.
• Fixed bug: when the quantity is located on the first column, a problem when exporting to the nomenclature

SmartDrawings

• Management sets mechanics grafts
• Standardization of the interface

ProjectManager

• New opportunities in filters for selecting components
• New possibilities in the creation of duplicate documents properties
• New possibilities in the definition of names of duplicate documents
• Progress bar for loading documents
• Key explanatory icons used in the assembly tree
• Button to duplicate the current document in SolidWorks
• Fixed bug in the "restructure a project

Integration

• Improvements to existing cases in the "Terms" and "Operations"

  • Delete a component
  • Change a string in a property value

• Ability to reorder actions with the arrows
• Fixed bug on the replacement fund plan format A4V
• Ability to deal SolidWorks Workgroup PDM projects
• No longer move a whole group
